This project is being implemented in 10 gram panchayats covering 66 villages of Baitu block of Barmer district since August 2010. The major objectives of this project are to secure and enhance present livelihoods, to promote income and employment and women empowerment through inclusion of target households by organizing and creating Self Help Groups. The achievements up to March, 2011: Household Survey-5387, Formation of SHGs -150, Savings bank account of SHGs opened-125, Record keeping/leadership training of SHGs-149.

Identification of 332 youths for skill based training in different trades like Hotel attendants, Security Guards, Masons and tailoring.
