Our Mission: Bhoruka Charitable Trust is dedicated to social-economic transformation of rural and remote areas of India, especially the weaker and socially underprivileged groups, through physical, social, cultural and economic development of rural people, groups and institutions.
Education programmes
BCT founded the Bhoruram Jiram Das Public School in 1976 for the purpose of offering children a formal education otherwise not available to them. Today, BRJD Public School continues to educate young minds, drawing more than 1200 students for its current school year. In 2012, BCT wished to further the academic possibilities, and thus the Prabhu Dhan Degree College was opened. Find out more about the educational opportunities BCT is offering.
Health programmes
Twice every month in Bhorugram, the Chogmal Bhoruka Hospital runs Eye Camps to perform surgeries to improve the eyesight of more than 100 individuals per camp. BCT offers these eye camps free of charge and is only one of several health programmes.
